The 1st workshop was organized by School of Bioengineering, Dalian University of Technology, and was held successfully in Dalian, a beautiful seaside city of the northeast of China, from Sept.5 to Sept.7, 2019. A total of 61 delegates came from different countries including Japan, France, Germany, the United States, and Thailand. Fifteen invited speakers presented their recent research findings during the workshop. The poster session also attracted the attention and discussion of many participants. Prof. Qing Yang and Prof. Tamo Fukamizo at Dalian University of Technology co-chaired this workshop.
